ADATA is lighting up the depths of our cases (if we haven’t done so already) with their new XPG Dazzle modules. The new modules are a part of their Xtreme Performance Gear (XPG) line and are clearly targeted at the gaming segment if the PC community.
While they didn’t bring the likes of Optimus Prime or Megatron, CybertronPC was at PAX East this year showing off the new CLX line of powerful and custom gaming desktops and laptops.
In recent years there’s been a growing trend in the GPU segment of hardware for cards to have two BIOS ROMs. The idea is that if something were to happen to a BIOS, whether it becomes corrupted, updated to an unstable version, or if the card “bricks” from overclocking, that there’s another BIOS that can get the card working again. Its a great feature for overclockers and others who just like to tinker.
We all need extra memory either for taking that import presentation with you to a meeting or giving a friend a copy of a cool video you found on the internet. Well today SanDisk has announced a line of flash drives that will help you do that and more.
CES this was huge and Day 2 and 3 were crazy packed with gadgets of all sorts. We finally had enough time to get to the show floor and to start poking around at all of the tech. Unfortunately, there’s no real good vantage point to get a good shot of exactly how big this show is. If you’ve ever been to other large scale conventions like NYCC (New York Comic Con) or Otakon in Baltimore, you’ll have a slight idea of how big this show really was. We can say for sure that CES is much bigger than those shows combined.
