When Apple first announced its Apple Silicon a month ago, there were many questions and lots of apprehension. Like many of you, I was skeptical. To summarize the event, Apple highlighted a few key workflows running on the M1 chip. Then Apple showed us a bunch of unlabeled graphs touting superior performance over its intel counterparts. None of the presentation helped dispel my skepticism. Currently we are limited to either 8 or 16 GBs of memory that can only be upgraded at the time of purchase. There is no user upgradable memory, one of the downsides of having a SoC (System On a Chip). Today Nintendo finally revealed what has long been rumored to be its next console. Let’s get it out the way. Yes, I’m highly excited. This is the first console in a long time that not only has peaked my interest but has me waiting in anticipation. Just thinking about the possibilities gets me riled up. This is the console I’ve wanted for most of my adult life.

E3 2016: Microsoft Stuns The Crowd
Okay, the title for this article sounds like my reactions should be positive. And for the most part they are. I’m excited about a lot of what was shown today, but I’m also stunned by the timing of some of these announcements. Mainly the hardware announcements. But first let’s dive into the software that was announced today.
E3 2016: Day 1 – EA Sets the Tone
E3 our gaming Mecca is upon us, it feels like each year it gets here earlier and earlier. The world famous expo kicked was kicked off today by none other than EA and was then followed up by Bethesda later in the evening. Both conferences were jam packed with amazing announcements.
